John Valentine

Founder and President 

John Valentine is founder and Principal of Valentine Capital Asset Management, Inc. Mr. Valentine is well-established in the field of portfolio management and has been independent since 1989.  Prior to his entry into the brokerage industry, Valentine was an analyst for First Interstate Bank in San Francisco.  It was there that John developed his knowledge of probability analysis, economics, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and finance. 

Mr. Valentine is the Chairman of Valentine Capital’s Investment Policy Committee, which meets weekly to review the changing dynamics of global economics and worldwide financial markets. 

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Mr. Valentine has been a long-time resident of California and earned his degree with a major in Economics from U.C. Davis. Read John's extended biography
